Blond app for iOS and Android
Agent Blond, receipts and time tracking in your pocket — the Blond app brings the things you need on the go to your phone.
What the app is for
The app is deliberately not a copy of the web app. It focuses on what makes sense when you're out and about:
- Agent Blond — ask questions, hand over tasks, listen to answers
- Voice mode — talk to Agent Blond instead of typing
- Expense inbox — photograph receipts the moment you get them
- Time — log project time and working time, run timers
Writing invoices, doing the books or changing settings stays on the computer. If you tap something in the app it can't handle itself, it opens the matching page of the web app in your browser.

Installing
In the stores the app is called Agent Blond – KI-Assistent.
| Platform | Download |

| iPhone | App Store |
| Android | Google Play |
Note
The app needs an existing Blond account. Create a new one at https://app.blond.swiss/auth/register — see Getting started.
Signing in

Via the browser (no password)
The fastest way: you sign the phone in from your existing browser session — no password, and the app inherits the two-factor check along with it.
- Open Blond in your browser and choose Sign in on your phone in the profile menu at the bottom left. The browser shows a sign-in code as a QR code.
- In the app, tap Sign in with your browser and then Scan sign-in code. Without camera access, type the code instead (Type the sign-in code).
- Confirm in the browser with Sign in on this device — scanning alone doesn't sign anyone in.
- Finally the app asks whether you really want to sign in with this account. Tap Sign in.

Warning
A sign-in code is only valid for a few minutes and works exactly once. If someone shows you a sign-in code that isn't yours, don't scan it — you'd sign into their account. That's why the app shows the email address once more before the last step.
Every sign-in via the browser sends you an email about the new device. You can see and remove signed-in devices in the web app under Security — see Secure your account.
With a password
Sign in with password works like in the browser: email, password and — if enabled — the code from your authenticator app or a backup code. If you've set up a passkey, Sign in with a passkey appears as well.
TIP
The app stays signed in until you sign out in My profile or remove the device in the web app. After 90 days without use, the sign-in expires automatically.
Agent Blond in the app
The home screen is the chat with Agent Blond. Everything in the Agent Blond article applies here too — Ask and Agent mode, roles, confirmations, undo. The differences from the web app:
Cards instead of an empty page: Instead of example questions, the app shows figures that need attention right now — overdue invoices, receipts in the inbox, missing project hours. Tapping a card starts the matching chat. Press and hold a card and Agent Blond answers the question in voice mode instead.
Attaching content: Via + in the input field you scan a document with the camera, pick photos or attach a file. The microphone icon dictates a message as text.
Confirmations on the go: When Agent Blond is waiting for an approval — for example before sending an invoice — the conversation appears on the home screen and in the sidebar under Unread & pending. You can approve in the app or later on the computer.
Conversations: The sidebar (icon at the top left) lists all chats — the same ones as in the web app. A conversation you started on one device continues seamlessly on the other. Press and hold a conversation to delete it.
Note
Agent Blond has to be enabled once by an administrator. If that hasn't happened yet, a notice appears at first launch — admins can give consent right in the app. Details under Activation and data privacy.
Voice mode
The waveform icon on the right of the input field starts voice mode. Agent Blond speaks first, then you simply talk — no button, no waiting. Controls, focus selection and limits are described in the Voice mode article.

What works by voice — and what doesn't
Voice mode is built for quick things in between. It can look things up, log time, control timers, create expenses and draft documents. What it can't do: delete, post journal entries, create recurring tasks or attach files — switch to the chat for those.
| Action | How you confirm |
|---|---|
| Log time, stop a timer, create an expense | Agent Blond reads back project, duration and amount and waits for your spoken yes |
| Discard a running timer | Spoken yes — the time is gone for good afterwards |
| Message a team member | Agent Blond reads back recipient and text and waits for your yes |
| Send an invoice or quote | Never by voice alone: a card with recipient and amount appears on screen, which you tap |
| Delete, journal entries, tasks | Not possible — Agent Blond points you to the chat |
TIP
Agent Blond spells dictated email addresses back before saving them — speech recognition often mishears addresses.
You pick the voice under My profile → Voice and the response language via the DE / FR / EN buttons at the top of voice mode. Every voice session then shows up as a normal conversation in the sidebar.
Receipts into the inbox
Expense inbox in the sidebar (or the scan icon at the top right) shows your expense inbox — the same one as in the web app. There are three ways to get new receipts in:
Scan: The camera detects the sheet automatically, crops and straightens it. Scan multi-page invoices page by page — the app merges them into one PDF so AutoScan finds the total on the last page.
Choose from photos: For receipts already in your photo library.
Share from other apps: If you receive an invoice by email or messenger, pick Agent Blond in your phone's share menu. PDFs go straight into the inbox; images open in the app first so you can check them.
After uploading, AutoScan reads supplier, date, amount and VAT — that takes a moment, and the row shows Processing meanwhile. Tap a receipt to see the recognised data and the document.
Collect only, don't post
The app files receipts; it doesn't turn them into expenses. You do that in one go on the computer — see Turn a document into an expense. Anyone allowed to review other people's receipts can also decline them in the app.
Tracking time
Time in the sidebar (or the clock icon at the top right) combines on one screen what the web app keeps in two separate areas: project time tracking and working time tracking.

Project time
Track time creates a time entry: description, project, duration and rate. The +0:15 / +0:30 / +1:00 chips add to the duration, and the rate remembers your last choice. With AutoText, Agent Blond tidies up your description after saving — the text later appears on the time report for the customer.
Start stopwatch picks a project and lets the clock run. The same rules apply as in the browser: timers run on the server, are visible on all devices, and only one runs at a time. When you stop it, you add description and rate.
Timer on the lock screen
A running timer shows up on the iPhone as a Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, on Android as a persistent notification — with project and elapsed time. So you can see at a glance whether something is still running; tapping it takes you to the timer. This works whether or not you've allowed push notifications.
Working time
If your company tracks working time, the ring shows today's working time against your daily target instead of project time. Below it you clock in and out:
| Button | Effect |
|---|---|
| Clock in | Starts the working day |
| Take a break | Pauses — break time is deducted from working time |
| Resume work | Ends the break |
| Clock out | Closes the day; Resume work on the same day continues it |
If your company has enabled automatic break deduction, Blond deducts the required break even if you didn't log one — the note Incl. … min automatic break deduction shows it.
Week overview and time account: Below the ring you see the current week with working time and project time per day, plus your time account balance. Tap a day to add forgotten hours or a break. Locked days can no longer be changed.
Warning
Working time and project time are two different things: working time is the legal record of when you worked; project time records what you worked on. If you've logged more working time than project time on a day, the Today on projects card tells you with … not yet tracked to a project — tapping it creates the missing entry with the difference.
Starting a project timer clocks you in automatically if you aren't yet that day.
Settings and switching companies
Tap your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open My profile.

Theme: Light, dark or automatic following the system setting — applies to this device only.
Voice and sounds: Agent Blond's voice in voice mode, and subtle sounds when an answer is ready or an approval is waiting. Both apply to this device only.
Notifications: Push notifications for things that concern you directly — mentions, messages from team members, approved absences. The app asks once at first launch; if you chose Later back then, switch them on here. If the switch is off and won't move, notifications are blocked in your phone's system settings.
Manage account: Opens your profile settings in the web app — name, password, language and security are changed there.
Switching companies
If you belong to several companies, tap the company name at the top of the sidebar and pick the one you want. The app then reloads and shows the chats, receipts and times of the chosen company. If you're only in one company, tapping does nothing.
Note
What you see and can do in the app depends on your role in that company. Without permission for Agent Blond the app starts straight in the expense inbox; Time only appears if you're allowed to log project or working time.
